Make note of the following when recording your moon observations:

Color of the moon

Shape of the moon

Altitude of the moon - how high above the horizon it is (0 - 90 degrees)

Size of the moon

Direction - the part of the sky where you see the moon

Date you see the moon

Time you see the moon
